Malachi

The date today is August 28th 2012. It is a beautiful day today. Katya is now 27 years old. Today was wonderful. I awoke next to the love of my life. Seeing the sun shine in through the window, this gave a smile to my heart. Looking out, seeing the garden brings me much joy. I write this letter to you and I want to share with you, Jesus loves you. You see, life is a great adventure. It's like looking out from a hillside and seeing the terrain around you. It's vastness can seem to swallow you up but it doesn't because you know in your heart that Christ is Lord of your life. He is the way you will jump from hill to hill, seeing the way he loves you. See the way he cares for you. He brings rain to fall of the seed and it sprouts. The sun weighs down on the weeds and they shrivel and blow away from the wind. The wind now blows about you and his rain comes down upon you. Peace and joy are his garments. Such great love comes from his lips. The way he thinks of you is incomprehensible and great. See the great works of the Lord. He comes in clouds. He is the one to restore, fix, and mend. He is the heart that beats to the melody of eternity. He is the source of song and life. He is the melody of the praise-filled heart. God is love. He is eternal. Trully he has shown his great love that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. So that we could be included, accepted, called, heirs, friends, servants, and children of God. He has called us out of a great darkness into his eternal light.

In the love of our Lord Jesus Christ , Lovingly Malachi.

Clock waving its hands

Thoughts about my time away.

Dear Journal,

It is now the 19th of June, and I am at the Barnes and Noble in Princeton, NJ. As I am away from my wife I realized how to bide my time. So I took a moment to measure time itself in relationship to my waiting.

Until I see her at the airport this will have passed -

Hours     = 383
that is in
Minutes   = 22,980
in seconds that is,
Seconnd  = 1,378,800

I took a moment to study the average adults heart beats at 80 bpm so I thought to figure that too.

22,980 x 80 = 1,838,400 heartbeats till she returns

A great day it will be when I behold her coming through the gate and into my arms again.

Sincerely,
With joy,
Samuel

Clear glass reflections

Journal - The day is June 18th 2012.

Today started off well. Awaking at 6am in the morning, I decided to get a move on. So I went to the piano downstairs to worship and meditate. After playing a couple worship songs I came to write a song of my own. I called it 'a song for jesus'.

                                                                     "Song for Jesus"
Intro
                        you are a husband (D, A/C#, G/B, A)
                        you are a king
you are so many things to me
                        What can I tell you?
                        What can I sing?
No words can express, what you mean to me.

Bridge: (G, A, D/F#, G, em, D/A, Asus, A) repeat 2nd time octave above
                        So with
                        Arms reaching high,
                        Crossing heavens sky
                        Do I come to you?
                        Yes, I come to you!
                        With my heart and soul
                        I give you my all,
                        I will praise you, Lord,
spoken: all I can say is... (Asus, A)

Chorus -
Holy,   (D, D/F#, G, Em7, A)
Holy is the Lamb
Holy,
Holy is the Lamb
Holy is the Lamb (D)

2nd Verse
                      You are a lover
                      You are a friend
The love you have, really has no end.
                      What can I ask you?
                      What can I see?
Can I tell you, all you are to me?

Bridge, Chorus.

Today, also being Monday is a day to follow Sunday which was such a great day. Yesterday, I enjoyed going to church. I attended Nassau Christian Fellowship on Nassau street, Princeton NJ. It was wonderful. Before church I was singing the song by Matt Redman I think, 10000 reasons for my soul to sing. That was the song for the offeratory that day. Such a gift was to be able to sing that in church.
The message was a continuance of Job. Found out that he had 20 children. What? I know. He was a righteous man, full of integrity to his family. It was great to remember Job 29,30,31 again.
After the service, we had a time of bible study in which we discussed I Thessalonians where Paul had just left Thessalonica and now Timothy is reporting back to him about how things are. In this letter Paul encourages the christians there to keep loving people and resist sexual immorality.

It was such a wonderful time getting to visit with many members of the church, I must have met 30 people in just a couple hours. Many international people invited me to other services they would be attending. A man from India introduced me to his boys.

It was such an uplifting time for me. I also went to Subway with the youth minister and the organist.

The wonderful thing about this morning and afternoon is that i have been thinking of my wife all day. I know that she is traveling probably as I write this. It is trully a blessing to search for gifts for her. I know the greatest gift is just to have her back with me. So I will be writing this journal to keep my heart steady.

Beside these things I am on my way in a few hours to the rehearsal @ 6pm for another run through. We won't be finished till 10pm. So until then I bid you farewell.

- Sincerely,
In his grace,
Samuel
